This Retirement Park is ideally situated just 3 miles from the M4 on the foreshore of the Severn estuary. Newport is 6 miles away with excellent shopping facilities, coast and Inter City Rail Stations. Buses run from the front of the Park to Newport daily, except Sundays. The capital of Wales, Cardiff (with its International Airport) is approximately 10 miles away and there are retail parks within a 10 mile radius offering out of town shopping facilities for the majority of supermarkets, DIY stores, electrical retailers, etc.\r\n\r\nEach week there is a free bus (from the front of the Park) to Asda at Pentwyn and to Tesco, St. Mellons. There is a library link service close to the park. A mobile hairdresser calls weekly. Nearby leisure activities include swimming, sailing, golf and rugby; if you are a keen fisherman you are going to be spoilt for choice with sea fishing from the foreshore together with fly and coarse fishing nearby.\r\n\r\nThe facilities of the village of St. Brides, approximately 1 mile from the Park, include a restaurant and Inn, the latter offering good value meals and snacks.
